I purchased a home that was built in 2013 and have been doing renovations ever since I moved in. I wanted to replace the solid wood entrance wood, which would have been expensive. During my search for wood doors, I stumbled upon the Designer Doors of Austin website, and I am so glad I did. I met with Steve to discuss the different glass inserts, and whether to do full glass or half glass as well as the sidelight. Steve was very knowledgeable and looking at my decor we were able to pick a design that complimented my decor. Once installed I could not stop looking at it as it lit up a dark entrance hall. I could not be happier with the outcome.

When I purchased my small Sun City home, two window treatment problems quickly moved to the top of my decorating to-do list. First, I wanted to create interest in and preserve the limited light from two high narrow windows. Also, I needed to brighten a dark entryway. Both problems were resolved quickly and beautifully by Steve Swartz and his team from Designer Doors of Austin. They inserted a lovely Hampton style beveled glass panel into my existing front door. In addition, they replicated the same style of leaded glass in both of the high narrow windows. Wow! The results were fabulous – I have light, interest and privacy. Designer Doors of Austin did a fantastic job on our new door. They were attentive, and provided amazing service throughout the entire process. Designer Doors did such a fantastic job of dressing up our home! Our curb appeal is much better than out ‘stock’ builder door and are much more efficient now).
